Our Defining Beliefs:
At Texas Golden Triangle Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction COGIC, we we adhere to our traditional doctrines, including the Infallibility of Scripture, the Trinity, and the Second Coming of Christ. Our Holiness and Pentecostal Affirmations encompass the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and Divine Healing. We hold dear our Statement of Faith, Affirming Belief in the Bible, the Father, the Son, the Holy Ghost, Man, Sin, Salvation, Angels, Demons, the Church, and the Ordinances of the Church. We acknowledge the Importance of Fellowship, Worship, Praise, Preaching, and Power in our Spiritual Lives.
Statement of Faith
We Believe the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible written Word of God.
We Believe that there is only One God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son and, God the Holy Spirit.
We Believe in the blessed Hope, which is the rapture of the Church of God, which is in Christ, at His return.
We Believe that the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Jesus Christ.
We Believe that regeneration by the Holy Ghost is absolutely essential for personal salvation.
We Believe that the redemptive work of Christ on the Cross provides healing for the human body in answer to believing prayer.
We Believe that the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4, is given to believers who ask for it.
We Believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy and separated life in this present world.

The Church of God in Christ is the largest Pentecostal denominations in the United States of America, known for its Holiness-Pentecostal tradition emphasizing the Holy Spirit, Divine healing, modest dress, and dynamic worship with singing, dancing, and fervent prayers.
The Church of God in Christ Worship Style is vibrant and expressive, often featuring spirited singing, praise, emotional worship, and reflecting the Pentecostal experience in which was evident and witnessed with our great founder, Bishop Charles Harrison Mason in 1907.
We assert that Our Dress Code encourages modest, business-formal attire, with women often in dressess/skirts and men in suits or slacks, reflecting their holiness heritage.
We participate in this society, with a Social Focus being active in community outreach, including prison ministries and public policy advocacy, addressing social issues from a faith based perspective.
The Church of God in Christ have attained a Global Reach, while we are U.S.-based and predominantly black, the Church of God in Christ has a significant international presence, with congregations in numerous countries around the world. We love the Church of God in Christ, we love our grand ole' church.
