Public Relations

Our Public Relations group works to foster a positive and transparent relationship between the faith community, its members, and the public sphere. Here are some key functions typically involved:

Communications: Disseminating the jurisidiction's mission, values, events, and neworthiness to internal and external audiences through various channels, including but not limited to press releases, newsletters, social media, and websites.

Media Relations: Acting as the primary liason for media inquiries, managing the ecclesiastical public image, and proactively sharing stories of community impact.

Community Engagement: Coordinating outreach initiatives and events that build bridges with the local community, demonstrating the jurisdictional commitment to real service and genuine fellowship.

Reputation Management: Providing a strategic counsel to the ecclesia's leadership on sensitive issues and ensuring that all public messaging is consistent, ethical, and aligned with the overall establishment's doctrine and mission.

The supreme goal is to inspire authentic faith, encourage participation, and ensure that there is a positive influence and understanding in which is highly appreciated by the impacted community it seeks to serve.

We are always reminded of the 4 P's of Public Relations:

Publicity

Public Perception

Promotion

Persuasion

These components serves as the foundation for developing PR strategies that communicate the right message to the right people at the right time.

Greeters Reach

We are defined as the group that handles with loving care greetings and distinctive hospitality, better known in the church world as sure "Front-Liners" with a Christ-like welcome. We are essential volunteers that are responsible for creating a warm, inviting, and friendlier atmosphere for everyone who enters the church doors. We harmoniously work the parameters from the first-time visitors to long-standing members, from the parking lot entrances to the sanctuary doors and beyond.

This team effort is dedicated to extending Christian hospitality, ensuring every person feels seen, valued, and comfortable as soon as they arrive. We create connections that help facilitate community and connection by providing genuine warm smiles, affirming handshakes, and helpful information to guide all attendees through the worship/ gathering experience.

We make certain that "First-Impressions are our best impressions. We manage all critical first impressions for the community, thus embodying the ecclesiastical mission of Agape love and Christ acceptance.

We are also known as "Navigators and Guides." We go beyond simply greeting, we actually assist with practical needs such as directing people to facility restrooms, nurseries, sanctuary seating, or fellowship areas, and answering general questions about service times, method-styles and church programs. We are honored to serve in this capacity, as we recognize we are extending family-style fellowship. Our roles are practical expressions of faith, making the ecclesiastical jurisdiction's welcome and an accessible place of pure worship for all people.

Usher Ambassadors

We are volunteer, committed, and dedicated persons who serve as the first point of contact after people enter the worship facility. We too embody the characteristics of simple hospitality and do represent Christ to members and visitors alike. Our practical duties like greeting attendees, managing seating capacities, and ensuring a safe-space while maintaining a welcoming environment during our hosted venues. Our ecclesiastical role is seen as a vital ministry, equally important as other church leaderhip positions.

We are assigned keepers of the following:

Guidance - helping attendees find comfortable seating and navigating the sanctuary in a non-disturbing manner, especially those with special needs like parents with infants or the elderly.

Safety and Order - we monitor the sanctuary for safety, manage capacity during overflow, and maintain an orderly atmosphere full of spiritual benefits.

Service - we assist in service by collecting freewill offerings for those who cannot participate in walking, directing people as needed to help cut-down on unncessary walking traffic and with any emergencies.

Preparation - we prepare the church before a worship service, such as ensuring proper conditions and available materials.

Closing - after services have concluded, we ensure the building is in decent appearance after a full-capacity event.

We practice remembering an "Ambassador" Role:

  • First Impression
  • Spiritual Representation
  • Christian Service
  • Public Relation Standards
